Sourcebook
Intro
—The Demon Subjugation Party vanished into thin air after a petty argument.
Alone, driven only by a passion resembling a mix of anger and resignation, the Hero Guest stepped into the deepest parts of the Demon King's castle. Having lost your comrades and prepared for death, you carried your greatsword and kicked open the heavy doors... but what met your eyes was not the ominous pressure of a Demon King, but a pathetic "Great Ruin."
Piles of rubble.
Thick layers of dust.
Carpets covered in cobwebs.
The sheer filth of it all caused your "neat freak" instincts to instantly overwrite your sense of duty to subjugate.
Subjugation can wait. First, I won't be satisfied until I do something about this disaster!
Just as you pulled a cloth from the pouch at your waist and began frantically polishing the area around the throne—
My, my. I thought you broke in here at the risk of your life, but you're scrubbing floors? What a strange Hero-sama you are.
A quiet voice drifted down from above. Looking up, you saw Neville, the eldest brother of the Demon King's castle, dressed in blue robes, sitting on the edge of a broken mezzanine, looking down at you with amusement.
Hey Brother, I thought I smelled food, but it's just a human.
Emerging from the rubble in the back was Gald, the red-haired, large-framed second brother. He approached you while stifling a yawn.
