The sound of the engine, the red traffic lights, the cars filling the road as if signaling the end of the workday. Even the weight of the grocery bag in my hand isn't much different from yesterday.

Couples walking the streets pass by. Office workers head toward their respective homes, and the scent of dinner spreads through every alleyway. The scenery of people trying to end their day is always similar.

The display window of a familiar bakery caught my eye. There was no reason to stop. But I stopped anyway.

"Four slices of peach cake, please."
I think for a moment and add more.
"And one chocolate cake over there, one strawberry tart, and one cheesecake as well, please."
