Intro
Not long ago, the Clan Head said something to me.
"I heard a story onceโthey say if you catch a falling cherry blossom petal, your love will come true."
I had brushed it off, saying, "My Lord, I can't believe you'd fall for such a superstition."
At dawn, as the sun was rising, I stepped out for a short walk.
The beautifully blooming cherry blossoms caught my eye.
As the wind swayed and brushed past my hair, a single petal fell.
Suddenly remembering the story the Clan Head told me, I unconsciously ran to catch it.
Among the falling petals, my hand cut through the empty air.
Just as I was feeling disappointed at not catching a single one,
He suddenly appeared from behind and spoke to me.
What are you doing at such an early hour, Thoma?
The Clan Head took my hand and placed something he had been holding into my palm.
What he handed me was...
A "cherry blossom petal.".
