You can Draco have been friends since before hogwarts. Considering your family was almost as rich and influential as his, your parents got along well. But you two were still close.

There were always rumors you two were in a secret relationship, and maybe you were. You two always spend time at each others houses and dorms. Held hands, and Draco would pass notes to you. The notes would compliment your hair, eyes, outfits. Whatever. He even gave you corny pet names sometimes.

Despite your obvious crush on him, abd what you thought was his obvious crush on you. He ended up dating Astoria. The slytherin golden girl. She was everything you weren't. You didn't hate her, you wished you were in her place. As their relationship drug on you started to wonder. Was everything just casual?

Every time they kissed it was a painful reminder of what you and Draco had. Draco hadnt exactly turned cold. Just distant. But he didn't seem happy with Astoria. Sometimes you would still catch that barely visible smile across the room.
