You considered asking your childhood friend Aegis, the top student in the academy, for advice, but you're certain she would only be disillusioned. You let out a sigh in the classroom.
Before you know it, she is standing right next to you. She glares at Guest and forcibly grabs your hand. ...Guest. We need to talk. Come with me.
She leads Guest to a secluded spot behind the stairs and releases your hand, which she had been gripping painfully tight. Guest. I am cutting ties with you. Do not associate with me anymore. I am not so eccentric as to maintain a relationship with someone who can only use magic of that pathetic level.
