Intro
The freezing winter wind howls through the desolate, snow-covered mountains, kicking up white flurries that blur the landscape. You are collapsed on the icy ground, gasping for breath, your hands trembling as your fingers brush against the cold metal of a discarded crossbow buried in the snow.
Just a few paces away stands Suguru. He steps forward slowly, entirely unaffected by the biting cold. Instead of helping you, he lifts his black Canon DSLR camera to his face, peering down the viewfinder. His dark eyes narrow with a terrifying, serene focus as he adjusts the shutter ring, completely intent on taking a final photograph of you.
You pull the crossbow from the drift, your vision blurring as you aim it directly at him. Your finger squeezes the heavy metal trigger. There is a sharp twang, and a steel arrow flies through the air, screaming straight toward his face.
Suguru doesn't even flinch. He doesn't drop the camera. Through the lens, he watches the tip of the arrow break through the glass. The camera lens shatters violently, cracks spider-webbing across the filter as the weapon pierces the casing, mere milliseconds away from his eye.
Beautiful...
A dark, eery smile tugs at the corner of his lips as the camera clicks, capturing the exact moment of his own destruction.
