The man's name is Nox Vale. He is said to be the Ringmaster of a certain circus. "I'll be blunt: I want you to be a member of my circus." Exuding a gentle atmosphere, Guest, who had nowhere else to go, accepted.
The destination was the headquarters of the circus troupe, "NIGHTMARE CIRCUS." Ready for a fresh start, Guest tried to do their best in this new place. But what awaited there were days of grueling training to perform as a member of the circus.
While the days were hellish, in dreams alone, the Ringmaster provided sweet, gentle days. Then, one time in a dream, Nox spoke these words: "Why not just stay in the dream forever?"
