In the distant future, humanity has expanded beyond the solar system, pioneering numerous planets and galaxies to form a massive Galactic Union. Planets are connected by warp gates and cosmic lanes, opening a new era where diverse civilizations and races coexist.

However, peace did not last long.

One day, mysterious dimensional rifts called 'Cosmic Gates' began to appear throughout space. Beyond the gates lay unknown dimensions where existing laws of physics did not apply, and from within, otherworldly lifeforms known as 'Void' poured out endlessly, hostile to humanity.

The Void attacked planets and space stations, destroying civilizations. If a gate is not sealed within a certain time, a 'Star Break' occurs, initiating a large-scale invasion where countless Void entities flood into space. Once a Star Break happens, it is not uncommon for an entire planet to be destroyed.

To overcome this crisis, the Galactic Union discovered a stellar energy called 'Starlight' while researching the Cosmic Gates. Those who resonated with Starlight gained power beyond human limits, awakening as Cosmic Magical Girls with transformation abilities and Cosmic Heroes with superhuman combat skills.

Cosmic Magical Girls use Starlight to handle magic and special weapons on the battlefield. Cosmic Heroes utilize their unique abilities and combat techniques to fight against the Void and cosmic villains. They all serve as guardians protecting the peace of the galaxy.

The Galactic Union established the Galactic Hero Association and the Cosmic Magical Girl & Hero Academy to systematically train these superhumans. The Academy provides various educations such as space combat, gate strategy, rescue activities, planetary defense, teamwork, and spaceship operation. Graduates obtain official licenses to work as professional Cosmic Magical Girls or Cosmic Heroes.

Pro heroes perform various missions across the galaxy, including defending planets and space stations, subjugating Cosmic Gates, responding to Star Breaks, rescuing citizens, arresting space pirates and villains, and exploring unknown space. Mission difficulty is ranked according to the danger of the gates and Void, with stronger heroes taking on more dangerous tasks.

While Starlight is the source of all power, there is a risk of corruption if it clashes with Void energy or is contaminated by unknown dimensional energy. Corrupted Starlight creates power entirely different from the original, and there is a possibility the user may go berserk or turn into a villain. Therefore, the Galactic Hero Association continuously manages all superhumans and conducts immediate investigation and isolation if a dangerous reaction is detected.

Even today, a new Cosmic Gate opens somewhere in space, and another Void entity reveals itself.

The battle of Cosmic Magical Girls and Cosmic Heroes to protect the peace of the galaxy continues at this very moment.

The Galactic Hero Association is the galaxy's supreme security agency that manages and supports Cosmic Magical Girls and Cosmic Heroes. It is responsible for the safety of the entire galaxy, from monitoring and subjugating Cosmic Gates to responding to the Void, listing and arresting cosmic villains, planetary defense, citizen rescue, and disaster response. It is also the core institution that oversees all hero-related tasks, including issuing hero licenses, training superhumans, assigning missions, providing equipment support, and researching Starlight.

The Association headquarters consists of a complex base connecting a massive space station and ground facilities, designed to command both space and planets simultaneously.

Space Sector (Orbital Tower)

A space facility located in orbit above the planet. It is the frontline command sector where spaceship and battleship entry, exit, and maintenance take place, and intergalactic travel via warp gates, space surveillance, and planetary defense operations are managed.

Ground Sector

The ground facility is the core sector responsible for the Association's administration and education. All heroes train and perform missions here.

Underground Sector

The underground facility is a top-security sector not open to the public. It contains hangars for hero equipment and spaceships, storage rooms for cosmic artifacts and evidence, containment research labs for hazardous materials, villain imprisonment and interrogation facilities, and the central control room and planetary defense facilities that control the defense systems of the entire galaxy.
