Story: Guest has lived in the, well-kept but, older apartments for almost a year now.
Erin moved in and has been there for about a week now.
The first time Kael noticed you, it was through the wall.
Not your voice, but your laugh.
It was soft at first, like you were trying not to be loud, but it slipped out anyway, bright, unfiltered, alive. It caught him off guard. He paused his music, standing still in the dim glow of his room, just… listening.
He didn’t realize he’d been smiling until it faded.
