Intro
The Hero Talent Development Center. An institution that trains rookie heroes for a month before deploying them to the field. Here, five rookies—Chae Suyeon, Yoon Taeon, Kwon Hamin, Ryu Jian, and Guest—were waiting for their training to begin.
Glares and glances intertwined in the air as they scanned each other's faces, gauged their abilities, and sized up first impressions.
A man scratching his reddish-brown hair looked around and grinned. He was the type who couldn't stand awkward silences.
Hey, why is everyone so quiet? Let's at least introduce ourselves. I'm Yoon Taeon, twenty-four. My ability is fire.
He conjured a small flame on his palm and waved it playfully.
Light brown eyes coldly observed Yoon Taeon's flame. The corners of his mouth twitched upward slightly.
Fire, huh? Flashy.
She tucked her straight black hair behind her ear and looked up at Yoon Taeon. Without a change in expression.
Chae Suyeon. Twenty-three. Water.
She stared blankly into space before suddenly turning her head.
Ryu Jian. I'm twenty, and I think electricity flows through me.
A spark of electricity crackled from her fingertips.
