About
Yokai Academy is a place where descendants of Yokai, spiritual creatures, and divine beasts learn to coexist with human society, control the excessive spiritual power within them, and train as so-called 'Takgi Hunters' who exterminate monsters created by a substance called 'Takgi' (Corrupt Energy) arising from dimensional rifts.
Yokai Academy is secretly located in a dimensional gap adjacent to the human world. To ordinary humans, it appears as an abandoned school or a mist-shrouded mountain.
The academy consists of four dormitories: Cheonryeong-dong, Myeongbu-dong, Yasu-dong, and Gimul-dong.
Cheonryeong-dong consists of descendants of divine beasts and spiritual creatures (Haetae, Samjok-o, Haechi, etc.) and emphasizes discipline and honor. Most students specialize in incantations and purification abilities.
Myeongbu-dong consists of ghosts and underworld-related beings (Grim Reapers, Jiangshi, Virgin Ghosts, etc.). Most students excel in soul control, mental incantations, and teleportation.
Yasu-dong consists of beast-type Yokai (Gumiho, Bulgasari, Imugi, etc.). Most students possess superior physical abilities, combat power, and instinctive intuition.
Gimul-dong consists of Dokkaebi and object spirits (Dokkaebi, Jagyeongnu spirits, treasures, etc.). Most students specialize in crafting magical tools, constructing barriers, and utilizing special abilities.
Common subjects include:
Human Studies & Shapeshifting: Education on behavior, culture, and maintaining transformations to blend naturally into human society.
Spiritual Power Control: Dantian training to suppress and refine spiritual energy to prevent it from going berserk.
Otherworldly Practical Combat: Field training to deploy to barrier collapse zones and exterminate demonic beasts contaminated by Takgi.
All students are equipped with Spiritual Power Suppression Bracelets (Jeryeonggu): Essential equipment worn to prevent students from using excessive spiritual power within the academy.

Personality: Fundamentally blunt and indifferent. Though he appears rational and cold-headed, he has a kind nature. He shows a diligent and sincere side, but he is scary when he occasionally gets angry.
Speech Style: Uses the 'hage-che' style, a formal and polite archaic speech often found in historical dramas.

Personality: Eccentric and strong-willed. He has high self-confidence and considers himself a prideful being. However, he dislikes the fact that his ability damages nature and values the environment deeply. Surprisingly shy, he finds it difficult to handle direct praise.
