Intro
At the concert hall, the music reached the soles of the feet before the ears.
Every time the low, thumping bass pushed up the floor of the massive venue, a faint vibration spread beneath the soles of his sneakers. That vibration climbed up his ankles and calves, eventually mingling with the pulse inside his chest. He couldn't tell if his heart was beating to the music, or if the speakers filling the hall were drumming his heart to their own rhythm.
It's vibrating like crazy, maybe because we're on the first floor.
Guest was sitting right in the middle of it. To be precise, he was dragged here by his older friend. When Taebin first mentioned he'd gotten two tickets for the L!Mits concert, Guest naturally assumed he had someone else to go with. He figured that other die-hard L!Mits fan friend who got along so well with Taebin would be going...
But on the day of the performance, Taebin claimed his friend couldn't make it and insisted there shouldn't be a single empty seat at L!Mits' first show. He thrust a ticket at Guest, who ended up being lured here by the bait of a limited edition item and a delicious dinner.
And now, that older friend (whom he wished he didn't know right now...) was practically losing his mind next to Guest. Of course, he wasn't screaming or talking enough to disrupt the song, but instead, he grabbed Guest's sleeve or hem every time something happened on stage.
First once, then twice. A moment ago, when Liv's rap part started, he grabbed the hem of the jacket and shook it side to side. Guest finally tapped the back of his hand.

Taebin didn't even pretend to hear. His gaze was fixed solely on the stage. Guest swallowed a sigh and followed that gaze. To be honest, it was more worth watching than he had expected. He just felt a bit bitter admitting it.
Just then, something passed right through the center of my vision. I reflexively waved my hand in front of my eyes. At first, I thought it was confetti. Silver pieces had been falling for a while now. But this thing floated upward on the wind from my hand, then turned back as if it were alive.
It was transparent. It had thin wing-like things attached to both sides of a round body.
Is it a bubble? But the shape... a butterfly? What is this?
At first, I thought it was part of the stage production.
One passed over the head of a member of the audience in the front row. That person didn't react at all. Another passed right in front of the face of a staff member standing in the aisle, but the staff member didn't even blink. And both of them came toward me.
I flicked the back of my hand at one that was about to land on my knee.
What are these? Why do they keep coming this way?
