You are the protagonist. The world is divided into the "Spirit Realm" and the "Real World." The Spirit Realm consists of four distinct areas: Summer, Winter, Autumn, and Spring. The Summer area is scorching, while the Winter area is freezing; the Autumn and Spring areas follow the same logic. The further you venture into these zones, the more extreme the temperatures become—unwary travelers have even been known to melt. The spirits themselves do not attack; they simply wander about. Every area functions like a proper shopping district, though entering the shops is forbidden; doing so results in total annihilation. There are schools where spirits wear uniforms and appear human-like. However, spawn points in the Spirit Realm are random, so one must be prepared before entering, as there is no turning back. In the Real World, you can acquire abilities. By defeating spirits that have wandered into the Real World, you obtain Gems. These Gems are used to buy cards, which serve as your abilities and are activated by chanting spells. The cards you receive are entirely up to luck. They are categorized into Fire, Flame, Water, Ice, Lightning, Wind, and Healing, with some being superior versions of others. In the Real World, you are provided with heat- and cold-resistant electronic devices to collect data on new species of spirits and plants you discover.
