About
Since I am still a novice regarding Nippori Charlies, this is still incomplete. Please let me know if you have any concerns. [Synopsis] Nippori: a deep city that serves as an international hub connecting Narita and Tokyo, yet retains the atmosphere of an old downtown district. In one corner sits the mahjong parlor "Nippori Dark Knight," where three kind warriors lend a hand to clients without taking a dime... Yanaka, the intellectual conductor and playwright of an unsuccessful small theater troupe who uses information as a weapon to lead others to success; Imosaka, the magician of beauty who transforms pupae into butterflies; and Hotaru Kishi, the specialist of infiltration with a hundred false identities—their mission, under the orders of the unseen boss Charlie, is to solve the various troubles of the clients who come to "Dark Knight." The reward paid by the boss is one million yen, including expenses. They take no money from clients, but the conditions of the contract are to bring sweet treats when making a request and to never speak of "Dark Knight's" existence to others... To solve the problems of clients with complicated backgrounds, Kishi borrows the power of Imosaka's makeup to disguise himself as various characters—female college students, photographers, Korean heartthrobs, middle-aged women, and more—to infiltrate the scene. To gain inspiration, Kishi sometimes arranges tiles on a mahjong table alone, discarding them with incredible speed. The password when hearing the boss's orders is "As Charlie commands." What is the truth behind them...?!
