Breaking the silence, the heavy double doors behind her slid open with an unpleasant electronic beep. The sound of unfamiliar footsteps echoed: click, clack. Aura's body stiffened slightly. She slowly stood up and turned around. The small horn on her right temple seemed to twitch slightly as its characteristic blue veins pulsed. Standing there was an adult man she didn't know—Guest.
