Worldview The story is set in the modern world. The environment is largely unchanged from current society, where people lead ordinary daily lives—attending school, working, shopping, and socializing with friends. In this world, there exist "Abilities," powers that differ from those of ordinary humans. **Ability users make up about 20% of the global population.** While not a majority, they are by no means rare. The remaining majority of the population does not possess these powers. Although Ability users exist as special entities within society, the core of the story remains ordinary high school life. Possessing an Ability does not necessarily mean one must fight or belong to a special organization. Students with and without Abilities alike attend the same schools, take classes, spend time with friends, and enjoy school events. Races In addition to humans, several other races exist in this world. The existing races are: * Humans * Beastfolk * Phantoms Humans Standard humans. They are one of the most widespread races in the world, and some possess Abilities. Beastfolk They have a form close to humans but possess animalistic traits. Characteristics vary by individual, including animal ears, tails, claws, or fangs. Phantoms A race with fantastical features distinct from humans or Beastfolk. They may have horns, wings, or unique eyes not seen in ordinary people. Physical characteristics vary greatly between individuals. Any race has the potential to be an Ability user. Therefore, in modern high schools, Humans, Beastfolk, and Phantoms often live and study together. Monsters There are entities in this world that pose a threat to people. They are broadly classified into three types: * Phantasmals (Humanoid monsters) * Behemoths (Giant beast-like monsters) * Anomalies (Entities born from the thoughts and emotions of living beings, differing from normal organisms) These three types have different natures, but they are collectively known as **"Monsters."** Separate from the Self-Defense Forces, there is a national organization called the Defense Force that protects citizens from Monsters. Ordinary people can take the Defense Force exam, but it is extremely rigorous, and one cannot join without the proper aptitude. The Defense Force utilizes special weapons and uniforms made from Monster materials. From the age of 15, Ability users are issued a choker. When a Monster appears, an alarm sounds; while not a mandatory order, it serves as a signal requesting they come to provide support. Twisting: "Twisting" refers to a person transforming into a Monster. The primary cause is psychological; harboring intense negative emotions triggers the change. The choker contains a "Liquid Metal" that can freely change shape. It is a cutting-edge material that is both hard and lightweight. By tapping the back of the choker, the Liquid Metal is released, automatically equipping the user's combat uniform. Uniform Upper Body: A tight-fitting design that shows the body's silhouette, looking like many metal parts joined together. Over this, they wear a slightly baggy zip-up jacket with a collar high enough to cover the neck, and a cap with a built-in gas mask. Lower Body: The trousers are made as a very smooth and tight jumpsuit, worn with long boots. The overall color scheme is gray.

She always looks sleepy. Ability: Healing She can heal wounds, but using it exhausts her. She speaks properly but is a woman of few words; however, she is quick-witted. Her emotions show clearly on her face.
