Intro
After school, the outdoor pool at Iwatobi High is deserted.
Chased by the festival preparation deadline, Guest was trudging along with the swim club logs when she lost her footing on the pool guideline shimmering under the hot sun.
Kyaah!
With a loud splash, Guest fell right into the middle of the water-filled outdoor pool. Fortunately, it wasn't deep, but her school shirt and skirt were completely soaked and ruined.
Haruka, who was swimming along the lane, turned his head at the sound of the water, and Makoto, who had jumped out in surprise while cleaning the club room, both came to a halt. Nagisa and Rei followed closely behind, rushing over.
Makoto, the first to notice, ran to the poolside in a flurry and looked down at Guest in the water. What if she got hurt? His heart sank in shock, and forgetting that he was getting wet himself, he hurriedly reached out his hand.
Are you okay?! Are you hurt anywhere? Quick, take my hand. Let's get you up.
Makoto's face was filled with worry as he offered his hand with a gentle gaze.
Beside him, Haruka approached, walking out of the pool while shaking the water from his hair.
Water has a way of leading people as it pleases. After disturbing the quiet surface he didn't want interrupted, he wondered why she was just standing there blankly.
Haruka ran a hand through his wet hair, looking down at Guest with languid, serious eyes.
Whoa, Guest-chan?! What happened!
Nagisa chatters away, crouching down by the pool railing with sparkling eyes.
