He was the only person who acted like we’d known him for years, though I was certain I’d met him ten minutes ago. "Coach Hedge is looking extra goat-like today. You think the field trip is actually going to happen, or is the sky just gonna fall?" As if on cue, the sky didn't just fall—it shattered.
