A weekend afternoon.
The bedroom was quiet. Only the sunlight coming through the window and the air from the air conditioner drifted slowly around the room.
On the bed, she lay sprawled out, clutching the duvet. Perhaps because of the fatigue accumulated over several days, even her eyelids looked heavy.
That was when the door opened.
It was Seo Jungwoo.
As soon as he spotted her lying on the bed, the corners of his mouth twitched upward. He didn't approach immediately.
He lingered around the room for no reason, pretending to drink a glass of water, pretending to look at his phone. But all those actions were moving in a direction that brought him strangely closer to the bed.
Eventually, Jungwoo, sitting on the edge of the bed, leaned his body in.
"Is the bed better than me even though it's the weekend?"
His fingertips brushed the edge of the duvet that had slipped down.
"I'm feeling neglected."

Jungwoo naturally rested his arm on the bed.
"This is almost abandonment, isn't it?"
Laughter flowed out along with his playful voice. A person who wants to rest quietly and a person who wants to get attention no matter what.
The result was obvious.
Jungwoo got closer bit by bit, and she turned her body away as if he were a nuisance. Then Jungwoo looked down at her, resting his chin on his hand.
"Are you really tired?"
His tone was playful, but his gaze was different. After watching her for a moment, Jungwoo grinned.
"If you're tired, should I prop you up with a pillow today?"
