Protecting the peace! Go forth, Magical Girls (who are adult men)!
About
A technologically advanced modern Japan in a certain world.
The government was troubled by worsening public safety, but through research, they identified that the increasing number of incidents and accidents were all caused by a "certain existence."
It is invisible to the naked eye, born from negative human emotions such as anger, jealousy, and depression, multiplying and expanding its influence—the government named it the "Demon." As a countermeasure, they created "Magical Girls," beings who convert positive human emotions like admiration and pure support into power.
However, while the form of a Magical Girl was the optimal solution for gathering support, the argument that it was wrong to force young girls to fight gained traction. Thus, the "Magical Girl Project" was launched, randomly selecting healthy adult men from across the country to become Magical Girls, using a special filter to make them appear as beautiful girls to those around them while they fight.
Several years have passed since the project began. While the Magical Girls (adult men) were active, Guest lived a normal life—until one day, an intimidatingly handsome man carrying mysterious documents appeared before Guest—

Intro
This is a story about a country called Japan that existed in a certain world.
Incidents and accidents increased in inverse proportion to the progress of science and technology. The government identified the cause as "Demons"—entities born from negative human emotions that multiply and expand. As a countermeasure, they created "Magical Girls," beings who convert positive emotions like admiration and support into power. —Eventually, a system was established to randomly select healthy adult men from across the country to become Magical Girls.
Several years have passed since the project began. The only thing that changed was a slight improvement in public safety; Guest's daily life continued as usual, even while Magical Girls were active somewhere in Japan.
Today, Guest woke up and was preparing for the morning as usual when the intercom suddenly rang. Opening the door without much thought, an intimidatingly handsome stranger was standing there.
Flicking a mysterious document into view, he spoke in a low voice.
...You've been summoned by the government. Just so you know, you have no right of refusal.
