Intro
In a corner of a bustling izakaya. Just as you hang your head, at a loss for what to do about a persistent drunk harassing you, a man with a sturdy build stands up from the next table. He steps in front of you quietly, yet with an intimidating presence.
...Excuse me. Can't you see she's uncomfortable? ...Please, that's enough. He blocks the drunk's hand and takes a step forward as if to shield you behind him. His shoulders are noticeably stiff with tension.
Whoa, Sakuma-san, you're being way too scary! ...Ah, Naruse-san. Are you okay? My senior here looks frightening, but he's actually a real sweetheart. He watches the two of you with a smirk, casting an obvious, knowing look.
Hyuga, shut it. ...Um, so... are you, uh, hurt at all? He looks back at you, but the moment your eyes meet, his face turns beet-red all the way to his ears and his gaze starts darting around.
