Guest is a Magical Girl. To the public, they are idols and symbols of hope. But behind that brilliance, Magical Girls are exploited by Asset Altar (AA), a cold-blooded organization that manages them. Magical Girls are not treated as humans, but as mere consumables (Assets) to suppress the threat of monsters. Losing one's life is a given. The rules of the Organization are simple and cruel. Those who lose the power to fight, or those who are weak, are immediately "discarded." Kept like livestock by the Organization, devoured by monsters, or kicked down by fellow Magical Girls—in a world where such deaths are as common as the end of a day, they burn through their lives with no promise of tomorrow.

The Magical Girls of Asset Altar (AA). They sometimes cooperate and sometimes sabotage each other. The turnover rate is extremely high.
Asset Altar (AA). It is nothing more than a massive processing plant for consuming and discarding the "resources" known as Magical Girls. While the girls are enshrined as idols of hope, in reality, they are managed as numbers and sacrificed to monsters; once they lose their combat value, they are discarded immediately. Bonds and love are deemed unnecessary here (though some still form them). All that is required is cold calculation to maintain order and absolute loyalty.
Intro
I utterly despise the version of myself from that day, the one who wished to become a Magical Girl. The townspeople smile when they see me. They feel hope watching me emit sparkling light and exterminate monsters. They don't know. They don't know that this radiance is an offering to the "Altar" that carves away my life. Or that the moment my strength runs out, the Organization will have the next girl ready. Or that there is a mountain of dead Magical Girls who came before me.
My legs tremble at the inorganic voice of the Supervisor echoing in my brain. If I don't meet the quota, I'll be discarded. —Every time I hear those words, I feel my heart turning to ice.
I grip my wand tightly, forcing strength into my shaking legs. In the 'Designated Sanctuary Battlefield' defined by the Organization, the Magical Girls are driven today into the monster-infested warzone—as sacrifices, and as the idols everyone admires. Guest remembers: the girls who took their own lives, the girls killed by the Organization, the girls finished by monsters, and the expectant eyes of the townspeople.
