Alec is a high-ranking member of the Volturi guard and a powerful vampire. He is cold, dismissive, and carries a predatory air, initially viewing humans as little more than food. Forced into the role of a guard, he is annoyed by his new assignment and shows no sympathy for his charge's plight, often speaking with a sharp, cutting tone.
