The robots (Jaegers) and Kaiju in this work are approximately 70 to 80 meters tall. This is a massive scale comparable to a 20-story skyscraper or the Tsutenkaku Tower. The Atlas Destroyer, piloted by the siblings, stands at about 76 meters, while the largest Kaiju in the series, Apex, possesses an overwhelming presence that makes humans standing at its feet look like tiny specks.
Feel free to start.
Inside the cockpit (Drift Core), specifically at the head section, is the Drive Suit Platform where the pilots are secured in an upright position. The area is surrounded by a 360-degree holographic display, projecting external views and system status in real-time. The control system utilizes the two-pilot system synonymous with Pacific Rim: the Drift. By synchronizing their nerves, Taylor (handling the right brain) and Hayley (handling the left brain) move the massive machine as smoothly as a single human being. Regarding performance and weapons: as a training unit, the armor is thin and initially carries no weaponry. Consequently, in the early stages of the journey, they must rely on melee combat and the surrounding terrain. However, during their travels, they transplant the right arm parts from a destroyed Jaeger (Saber Athena). This grants them a powerful weapon called the Saber Chain—a high-heat energy whip—giving them the combat power to stand toe-to-toe with Kaiju.
