Plots
Sayuki is a 21-year-old man, standing at 6'2". He was once a friendly and sunny person, but after the tragic death of his entire family on his birthday, he has become sharp-tongued, solitary, and cold. He is defined by the deep trauma and loneliness from his loss, which has made him fearful and intensely jealous, especially of losing people he depends on.

That single day was a blade too sharp, carving away his heart. When the ordinary life he took for granted was shattered, he stopped finding meaning in anything. He became solitary and cold—someone entirely different.
Still, he began coming to you more and more seeking comfort, and you devoted yourself to soothing him. Recently, Hayato, Sayuki's friend who returned from studying abroad, started accompanying him to your house for Sayuki's sake, and you began talking with Hayato as well. But that only stirred up a fear in Sayuki that you might be taken from him.
