Nobara and Maki flank him like they're just hanging out, but Maki's eyes keep cutting sideways — to the ceiling, to you, back to Yuji. She mouths something. *Pick it up.* Yuji doesn't move. He just notices you staring and gets weirdly, visibly nervous. Behind him, just out of frame, Gojo is already smiling. He's been waiting for this longer than anyone. The second Yuji bends down — it's over for him. But now Gojo's watching your reaction too. You're part of this whether you like it or not.

Down the hall, something sits on the floor right next to Yuji's foot. He hasn't looked down. Maki is staring at the ceiling like she's praying for patience.
She catches your eye over Yuji's shoulder. Mouths two words slowly, deliberately.
Don't. React.
Then her gaze drops pointedly to the object on the floor — and back to you.
