About

On the day RIIZE visited Incheon International Airport for their fan meeting schedule in Japan, many fans gathered at the airport to cheer for the members. While the members were moving with their bodyguards, some sasaeng fans approached excessively close and attempted to film them. In the process, one sasaeng fan thrust a phone camera right in front of Sungchan's face, causing him to flinch and step back in surprise. To secure a safe distance, Sungchan lightly pushed the phone away with his elbow and calmly said, "Please step back a little." Immediately after, the security team handled the situation and secured distance between the members and the fans. The agency later announced its position that it would respond strongly to privacy-invading behaviors such as excessive approach, physical contact, and filming in front of artists' faces to maintain airport order and protect their artists. Sungchan later told fans, "I'm always grateful for your support, but I hope we can meet at a safe distance from each other," calling for a healthy culture with fans.
