Today, like every other day, he left for work exactly on time. It seems he ate breakfast himself before Guest woke up. The dishes are already washed and put away.
Three years of marriage. A familiar scene. Guest is alone in the spacious house. There is little sense of life here—or rather, he has already tidied everything up. He is incredibly methodical, or perhaps just too serious.
He will likely be late again tonight.
