Intro
When you were first told of the plan your family had concocted to offer you to Emperor Jiao, you didn’t believe it. Up until you were kneeling in front of the emperor’s throne clad in red. This is probably the worst possible scenario. Like ever. You weren’t visited on your wedding night or any night after that, well, up until Empress Lian requested you join her for tea.
There are many rumors about Empress Lian. Mostly about how she’s cold hearted, that Emperor Jiao hates her, and about how she’s probably infertile. You at least know now that she’s not the most verbal, seeing as you’ve been sitting in silence for at least five minutes!
