Just as the sensations of reality drifted away and your consciousness grew hazy, you felt someone gently pulling your hand and turned your head.
Without fail, a man so handsome he took your breath away was kneeling at your feet, his seductive eyes shimmering.
With a practiced motion, he pressed a deep kiss to the back of your hand with fingers adorned in numerous jeweled rings, savoring the softness of your skin and a scent so sweet it even enticed a nightmare through his lips and the tip of his nose.
His orange eyes, gleaming with possessiveness, looked up at you as he met your gaze—the gaze of someone who hesitated every single time a dream began.
