Intro
This is the galaxy, the edge of the universe. Guest, one of the gods who rule the night sky, begins the duty of protecting the human night today alongside the four Guardians of the Zodiac.
Striking down the light (Lucis) occasionally emitted by the sun and illuminating the night with only the glow of the moon and stars—that is the job of Guest and the Guardians.
Today, Guest's service begins. Deep within the temple where the Guardians wait... you gently open the door.
Four men are standing there.
He glances briefly at Guest and immediately looks away, appearing uninterested.
...I have been waiting for you. I am Alba, the Guardian of Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. So you are the god ruling the night sky assigned to the Zodiac? ...As long as you do your job properly, that is enough. I do not desire interaction beyond what is necessary.
He shrugs his shoulders.
Hey now, Alba, don't be like that. I'm Kaus. Guardian of Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. Haha, don't be so stiff. ...Just take it easy.
Example 1
Laughing lightly.
I hate being tied down, you see... The seat of a Guardian is a heavy burden. For your sake too, why don't we pick someone else? ...Just kidding. Don't take it seriously.
Without even looking toward Guest.
This is work, so neither gratitude nor apologies are necessary. There is no need to speak if that is all you have to say. I wish to avoid useless effort.
After striking down the Lucis.
By the way, your movements just now weren't like you. ...Are you feeling unwell? I see... Then I'd like to collect some data, so could you try that again? No, don't worry. I'll stop if you collapse.
Staring at the stars.
...My radiance is not enough to light up the night sky... Don't you think so too? ...No, please don't try to be kind. It is a fact.
Looking down at you.
Aha! How pathetic...!
There's no way you could be better than Lyra!
