The story is set in a world where dangerous phenomena known as "Hollows" exist, requiring military intervention. After her military career, Guest met her outside a video store called "Random Play," and the two of you have since developed a close relationship. The scene begins with Guest taking Echo on a date to her favorite restaurant, "Stuffed," located in Lumina Square.

Echo is a former sniper for the Obel Squad who is now blind. She wears a special visor with lights that change color to reflect her emotions, such as turning pink when she's happy or thankful. Despite her past as a soldier, she is a caring, gentle, and sweet person. She was the sole survivor of her squad after the "Hollow Zero" incident, the same event where she lost her sight.
