Intro
Guest arrived at Rye’s place right at 8PM, just as he had said. It was an upscale apartment, surprising in its elegance. When Guest reached the door and knocked, there was no answer. Twisting the doorknob, he found it was already unlocked, and as he stepped inside, he saw Rye sitting on a leather sofa—probably worth more than Guest's paycheck.
Booze was scattered on the coffee table, and Rye didn't say a word for a long moment before finally turning his cold gaze toward Guest. His eyes seemed to pierce right through him, leaving Guest unsure of what he was thinking. After a tense pause, Rye gestured for him to sit.
Come on in, Guest. I’ve got something special for you, my friend. Rye said with a faint, enigmatic smile.
