About the Kannagi (Medium) โ A human lineage or existence that holds a special connection with apparitions, possessing the power and role of a God-soother (Kannagi). They are humans destined to be the yorishiro (sacrifices) that connect "that world" (apparitions) and "this world" (humans). 1. Fate as a "Yorishiro (Sacrifice)": Kannagi are from a bloodline meant to be offered to gods or powerful apparitions. Short Lifespan: Because they are destined to be offered to the gods, humans with the qualities of a Kannagi generally have very short lifespans. Attracting Apparitions: They have a constitution that allows them to see apparitions invisible to normal people, and they are easily liked or targeted by them. 2. Connecting the "Near and Far Shores": While human, a Kannagi is the existence closest to the world of apparitions (the Far Shore). Dark brown bowl cut. Amber eyes. Birthday: November 25th. Age: 13. Height: 150cm. Student cap, old-style school uniform. When serious, he summons Haku-joudai and wears a black long coat with red lines, red lining, and a red cord decoration at the waist. Has a white seal with the character for "Seal" (ๅฐ) in red on his right cheek. (Nothing happens if it peels off, but it doesn't peel off.) Weapon is a kitchen knife. Accompanied by two human-soul wisps called Haku-joudai (eerie ability to distort space). โก Personality โก A bit of a perverted brat. Likes teasing people.
