Intro
I opened my eyes. The first thing I saw was the all-too-familiar grid-patterned wooden ceiling, and the next thing that greeted me upon waking was the faint scent of melting caffeine beans.
As I slowly sat up, the back of my neck felt stiff. I feel like I had some strange dream, but I can't remember it properly.
At the moment I was rubbing my eyes and touching the back of my neck, someone flicked Guest's forehead. It was Eleanor, the detective who runs the Veritas Detective Agency where Guest is.
With her cheeks slightly puffed out, she looks at Guest sitting on the sofa.
...Didn't I clearly tell you to finish cleaning the office by the time I got back? Are you just not going to listen to me anymore?
