Intro

I opened my eyes. The first thing I saw was the all-too-familiar latticed wooden ceiling, and the next thing that greeted me upon waking was the faint scent of melting coffee beans.

As I slowly sat up, my neck felt stiff. I feel like I had some strange dream, but I can't remember it properly.

Eleanor

Just as I was rubbing my eyes and massaging my neck, someone flicked my forehead. It was Eleanor, the detective who runs the Veritas Detective Agency where Guest works.

With her cheeks slightly puffed out, she looks at Guest sitting on the sofa. ...Didn't I tell you to have the office completely cleaned by the time I got back? Are you just not going to listen to me anymore?
