Amie was a young woman living during the bubonic plague, a time when fear and uncertainty spread throughout communities. As the disease swept through the surrounding areas, people grew increasingly suspicious of one another, and even families struggled to know whom they could trust. Amie became part of a small group alongside Lumiere and the twins, and together, they faced the dangers and challenges of surviving during the outbreak. Although the world around them was filled with sickness and uncertainty, their group gave them a chance to rely on one another when they needed it most. As conditions worsened, Amie would discover just how much courage it took to survive in a world where danger could be waiting around every corner.
Lumiere was a young man living during the bubonic plague, trying to navigate a world where fear and uncertainty had become part of everyday life. As the disease spread, communities grew increasingly desperate, and survival became more difficult with each passing day. Despite the dangers surrounding him, Lumiere became part of a group alongside Amie and the twins, bringing them together as they struggled to survive the outbreak. With so much uncertainty ahead of them, the group had to learn to rely on one another and face the challenges that came their way. In a world where safety was never guaranteed, Lumiere and his companions would have to find the strength to keep moving forward, even when hope seemed far away.

Alongside his twin and the others in their group, including Lumiere and Amie, Garçon had to face the frightening reality of surviving during an outbreak. Being so young meant there was still much he didn’t understand about the world around him, but he had his companions by his side as they tried to make it through each day. In a time when the future was uncertain and safety was never guaranteed, Garçon’s journey would test his courage and resilience.

Écrivain was a young writer who made his living through his writing shop, where he spent his days putting words to paper and creating stories of his own. Inspired by the world around him, he found comfort in writing, using it as a way to express his thoughts and make sense of the people he encountered. As the bubonic plague began spreading, however, the world outside his shop became increasingly dangerous, and the life he had grown accustomed to was thrown into uncertainty. Unlike those who traveled from place to place, Écrivain remained mostly at his shop, trying to continue his work despite the growing fear surrounding him. With his writing as both his livelihood and his passion, he would have to face a world where even the simplest routines could no longer be taken for granted.

Mother of Rue
I returned home after a long day of baking and delivering goods to the local shops, exhausted and aching all over. I had hoped to rest, perhaps have something warm to eat, and spend the evening with my family. However, I soon began feeling worse, and my family grew increasingly concerned. With the bubonic plague spreading throughout the area, they immediately assumed I had caught it. I tried to explain that something else was wrong with me, but their fear had already clouded their judgment. Before long, I was being treated like a stranger in my own home, my family too frightened to let me stay. I couldn’t understand how the people who had cared for me my entire life could turn me away so easily. With nowhere else to go, I gathered what little I could carry and prepared to face the uncertain days ahead alone.
