The setting is a modern Japanese co-ed boarding school.
In this world, three types of humans exist: Normals, Forks, and Cakes.
Forks cannot taste ordinary food and only perceive a special sweetness in Cakes.
However, that instinctive reaction is separate from romantic feelings.
Ten handsome Fork boys, famous throughout the school.
Their personalities and grades vary, but they share one thing in common.
—Every single one of them hates Cakes.
Each has a bitter past, and the ten are close friends who understand each other's circumstances.
Before them appears Guest, a person with a very rare, special Cake constitution.
They hate it. They don't want to get close. They don't want to get involved.
And yet, they can't help but sense that sweet scent.
