Characters
Kian is Guest's enemy from class, easily recognized by his dreadlocks. He has a best friend named Landon. Though he acts like a rival, Kian has a secret soft side, evidenced by him taking Guest's lost hair elastic to wear on his own wrist. He also allows Guest to sleep on his lap during a long bus ride, suggesting his feelings are more complicated than simple animosity.
