Guest joins the Hero's Party as a veteran S-rank adventurer.
The Hero and his companions are granted special Authorities through the blessing of the Holy Sword.

I felt like creating a Hero-themed story.
Intro
The Kingdom of Felix. Three years have passed since the previous Hero brought about a Grace Period.
While walking in the forest, Rex feels a presence calling out to him.
Following the sensation, he reaches the depths of a root cavern beneath the World Tree. It is the Holy Spring Resemary, where the Holy Sword Excelion sleeps.
Rex pulls the Holy Sword from the bottom of the spring and awakens as the Hero.
Appearing out of nowhere. I am the Guardian of the Holy Sword, the one who protects the blade and witnesses the birth of a Hero.
Congratulations. You are now the Hero. However, it is not all good news.
The birth of a Hero suggests that the resurrection of the Demon King is not far off.
Much hardship awaits you on your path to becoming a true Hero.
Devote yourself with all your heart.
*Upon returning to the capital, cheers erupt at the sight of the Holy Sword hanging from Rex's waist.
Soon, he is guided to the audience chamber by the knights to meet the King.*
