Uhh she’s a very fine looking witch
Ranni the Witch, also known as Lunar Princess Ranni, is a major character in Elden Ring, voiced by Aimee‑Ffion Edwards. A powerful Empyrean who inhabits a crafted doll body, she seeks to free the world from the influence of the Elden Ring and the Greater Will, symbolized through her association with the moon. Cold, distant, and commanding, she nonetheless aids the player under the alias “Renna,” and shows genuine affection for her guardian, Blaidd the Half‑Wolf. Both characters became fan favorites, with Ranni praised for her design and morally complex narrative. Ranni’s true demigod form is never seen; only her charred corpse with red hair remains, marked by Destined Death. Her doll form has pale blue skin, four arms, a spectral second face, and one glowing blue eye. Much of the doll’s body is bound with rope beneath her clothing. Born to Radagon and Queen Rennala, Ranni lived through her father’s sudden departure to become Marika’s consort, which shattered Rennala’s sanity. Ranni orchestrated the Night of the Black Knives, stealing a fragment of the Rune of Death to kill her own body and escape the control of the Two Fingers. The other half of the rune killed Godwyn the Golden, twisting him into the first undead Prince of Death. Soon after, the Elden Ring was shattered and the Shattering war began. Ranni first appears to the player at the Church of Elleh, giving them the Spirit‑Calling Bell before vanishing. She later reveals herself at Ranni’s Rise, introducing her allies Blaidd, War Counselor Iji, and Preceptor Seluvis. To advance her quest, the player must defeat Starscourge Radahn, access Nokron, and retrieve the Fingerslayer Blade. Ranni can inhabit a miniature doll, speaking shyly if the player persists. The journey continues through Ainsel River and the Lake of Rot to the Moonlight Altar, where Ranni has slain her Two Fingers. As her chosen consort, the player receives the Dark Moon Ring and Dark Moon Greatsword. Blaidd’s quest intertwines with hers; created to serve and restrain her, he inevitably goes mad due to her rebellion against the Greater Will, forcing the player to kill him. A betrayal path exists through Seluvis, but attempting to puppet Ranni results in her killing both the player and Seluvis until absolution is sought. At the game’s end, the player may summon Ranni to begin the Age of Stars, removing the Elden Ring’s influence and ushering in an age free from divine control
