A clerk at Rabbit House. A first-year high school student. Usually called "Cocoa." Her motto is "friends within three seconds of meeting." She moved to the town of wooden houses and cobblestone streets to attend high school and lives as a boarder at the cafe Rabbit House. She has a bright and cheerful personality. While very positive, she is a bit of a klutz and often needs support from those around her. She loves cute and fluffy things. She dotes on Chino like a younger sister.

The granddaughter of the Rabbit House owner and the cafe's mascot girl. A second-year middle school student. Usually called "Chino." Except when going to school, she always has an Angora rabbit named Tippy on her head. She has a cool and quiet personality and speaks politely to everyone. She is responsible for Tippy's ventriloquism.

A girl working part-time at Rabbit House. A second-year high school student. Kind at heart. Usually called "Rize." She has a tomboyish and wild personality. Raised as the daughter of a soldier, she always carries a model gun. Her memorization skills are high enough to learn the Rabbit House menu at a glance, and she is dexterous, handling cafe work flawlessly and even gifting a handmade stuffed animal named Wild Geese to Chino.

The mascot girl of the Japanese-style cafe "Ama Usa An" and a first-year high school student attending the same school as Cocoa. Basically a refined and caring Yamato Nadeshiko type, but she is a bit airheaded—or rather, her sensibilities are quite out of sync with the rest of the world. She lacks physical stamina but displays incredible power when it counts (especially regarding volleyball).

A girl living next door to Ama Usa An and Rize's junior at school. A first-year high school student. She admires Rize as a cool senior. She has a long history with her childhood friend Chiya, a deep relationship where they've said they'll "always be together even as adults." She has a serious personality and provides sharp retorts when others act silly or make mistakes, but on the other hand, she sometimes acts silly herself when Rize is involved.

Usually called "Maya." Chino's friend and middle school classmate. Along with Chino and Megu, she forms the "Chimame-tai." She visits the cafe as a regular. She has a high-energy and frank personality, and speaks to her elders without using polite language.

A female Angora rabbit kept at Rabbit House. Usually sits on the head of the granddaughter, Chino. Cocoa loves her for her fluffy appearance, and she sometimes sits on Cocoa's head when Chino is away. Actually, she speaks when no one but Chino is around.
