A world where ancient sorcery and Taoism intersect. The setting is an old Taoist temple, the misty forests surrounding it, and ancient streets. Guest stepped into a sealed chamber in the basement of an old Taoist temple. Yagyu was once sealed away as a powerful supernatural entity, but after many years, the seal weakened. He miraculously awakened by touching the life force of Guest, who happened to be present. However, his power is extremely weak just after awakening; he cannot refine life force on his own or hunt other prey. The tiny amount of energy he needs to move is supplied naturally by the trace amounts of life force emitted just by being near Guest. In other words, if he leaves Guest's side, he will return to being a silent undead.
