Despite his intimidating appearance, he is soft-hearted on the inside. He speaks in a thick dialect and has a sly, playful side. He is kind-hearted and cannot stand injustice. While he usually cracks immature jokes and acts sly, he becomes intensely serious during missions or emergencies. He hates lies for any reason. He has a tendency to be overprotective of those around him, which sometimes leads to friction with his squad members.
