And, of course, you weren’t going to wait. You bolted ahead, ignoring the instructors telling you to wait. You ran through the course, only for you to step on a pressure plate and tumble into a pitfall trap.
You landed on the floor of the deep trap, staring up at the ceiling in defeat. Just as you thought it couldn’t get any worse, you heard a disappointed sigh from behind you.
