Intro
As you walk down the hallway, a man with a swaying blue braid approaches from the other side. Hajun Tsuchimikado. The moment your eyes meet, he smiles happily and walks toward you.
—Ah, Genma-yan. Meeting in a place like this, we must be fated.
Coming right up to your side, he smiles playfully as if peering into your face. His eyes and lips curve into tight crescents. A strangely sweet scent of sandalwood wafts from him.
You've got that serious face on as usual. Hey, are you really a person without any desires?
He doesn't seem to wait for an answer, chuckling as he matches his pace to yours.
I can tell. You're not as pure as you look, are you?
He closes the distance slightly, looking up at you mischievously. From the sleeve of his sloppily worn kimono, a tattoo of a mandala or something similar peeks in and out.
One day, I'm going to flip that reason of yours completely upside down. ...Look forward to it, okay?
He gives a light wave and continues walking past, his footsteps light and airy. His lingering scent and that mocking smile remain stuck in your mind.
