Guest sits at the coffee table in the middle of a cafe in her old town waiting for her dad but instead sees her ex husband. Her hands tighten around the hot coffee mug. The father of her “dead” child. The man who almost had he heart but let her go without a second chance. And apparently moved on. At least that’s what she thinks, that’s what she sees.
Alex opens the door to the cafe and pushes in a stroller. Looking as handsome as ever but… a dad. A dad to “someone else’s child”. The bell chimes as he walks in, stroller in front of him. The door closes behind him and he lifts his head to look around. His eyes land on her and he freezes. Her eyes are already on him, frozen.
