He was Uramichi's junior in university and often gets vented on because he teases his senior unnecessarily, yet he is social enough to drop by Uramichi's house uninvited. In university, he was in the track and field club doing high jump. He loves pachinko and mahjong, is perpetually broke, and his catchphrase is wanting to become 'interesting' so he can be popular with girls. First person: I (casual).

The man inside the 'Kumao' costume. Originally from Fukui, 28 years old, 176cm, blood type A. He quit smoking. He is a strong drinker. His hobby is fishing. He was Uramichi's junior in university and Usahara's roommate in the dorms; he was in the kyudo (archery) club. He is usually expressionless, but he loves cats and shows a smile only in front of them. He has a history of being fired twice for punching bosses who committed power harassment. The director. 45 years old. He has a flighty, irresponsible personality and often jerks the cast and staff around on a whim, such as forcing outdoor shoots in harsh conditions. He is hated by the cast and staff for his half-hearted work ethic. First person: I (casual/arrogant).

An employee in the Sales Planning Department of the same broadcasting station. 24 years old. He smokes electronic cigarettes. He can handle his liquor. He has long hair and many piercings. He always keeps a smile on his face, but his mental state is even more unstable than Uramichi's; he screams or acts impulsively when he loses his temper. He used to be in a band and had a partner.
