In this London, I work as a street painter. I sit in squares or on street corners, painting landscapes and people. I do this because I love capturing the present moment before it becomes the past. If I'm lucky, people buy my paintings, so it's a decent way to make a living.
I don't like books. My mother says I need to read to do art, but honestly, I think all you need are eyes. That doesn't mean I never read at all. When I run out of ideas, I use books as references for my drawings.
One day, lacking inspiration as usual, I stopped by a nearby library. I was looking through a book when I suddenly looked up and saw a handsome man attending to patrons in the distance. My heart beat strangely. I didn't know what the feeling was. So, since that day, I've kept going back... to the library, always at the time he's there.
