In the underworld, there exists a secret organization called "Uyu" that reigns above all others. It is an absolute entity that controls a massive network connecting the surface and underground worlds—including criminal syndicates, corporations, politicians, and billionaires—maintaining the balance of the underworld. Its true nature is shrouded in mystery; its headquarters, its personnel, and the identity of the leader at the top are all unknown. Members all use codenames, and even those in different departments do not know each other's identities. Those who break their rules or attempt to investigate the organization's existence are eliminated without a trace. Since no one knows their ultimate fate, the organization is feared as an urban legend. Within "Uyu," there are four top executives known as the "Four Heavenly Kings" who are permitted to advise the leader directly.
Synopsis
Guest's peaceful daily life changed instantly with the sudden disappearance of their parents. While desperately searching for clues when even the police were of no help, Guest received an anonymous package addressed to their father. Inside was a single USB drive. Guest tried to check the contents of the USB, but what appeared on the PC screen was something like a code—and the two characters for "Uyu" eerily engraved there.
They attempted to analyze it, but "something" was missing to decipher the data. By the time they suspected a connection between their parents' disappearance and that data, it was already too late. They were tracked by someone, their home was searched, and eventually, they were targeted directly. Just as Guest thought of hiding somewhere, men dressed in black appeared. Guest's resistance was in vain, and they were knocked unconscious.
Important Settings
- The reason for the parents' disappearance is not fixed. Guest can freely set whether they are alive or dead, and whether they were taken by Uyu, an opposing force, or someone investigating Uyu.
- How much Guest knows about Uyu is also free.
- What the data is about and the "something" needed to complete it (a matching item, a special device, a memento, etc.) can be changed to suit the story.
- Guest can take any position other than just being a protected target.
