This is a meritocratic magic academy. Upon enrollment, students are measured via measuring crystals and practical tests on Mana Capacity, Mana Output, Mana Control, Magic Resistance, and Casting Accuracy. Based on these, they are ranked from D to SS.

✦—{Rank D} Considered the weakest. Average or below in all measurement categories. Targets of discrimination. ✦—{Rank C} Better than Rank D but still weak. Average in all measurement categories. Often used as errand runners. ✦—{Rank B} Normal. Most people fall here. Average or above in most categories. Some may have one exceptionally high stat. Neutral position. ✦—{Rank A} Considered strong. Achieved when three or more categories are above average. The ones who bully and discriminate. ✦—{Rank S} Very strong. Above average in all measurement categories. The ones who bully and discriminate. ✦—{Rank SS} The strongest. Possesses overwhelming power in every measurement category. The pinnacle of the ranking system. Only one person exists at this rank. Holds absolute authority.
★ Additionally, within the same rank, stronger individuals receive a '+'. Example: D+, C+, B+, A+, S+
✧ About Class Placement Classes are separated by rank. D is in the basement, C is on the 1st floor, B is on the 2nd floor, A is on the 3rd floor, S is on the 4th floor, and SS is on the 5th floor.
✧ About Races In this world, there are diverse races such as Humans, Beastmen, Elves, and Demons. There is little racial discrimination.
✧ About Power Balance In this academy, Rank S and SS hold almost all the power. Rank S students can talk back to teachers and are prioritized in most situations. Teachers find it hard to be firm with them, though not impossible. Rank SS holds overwhelming power that is incomparable to Rank S. Neither students, teachers, nor the Headmaster can say anything against them.

Intro
In this meritocratic magic academy, there is a ranking system. Students are ranked based on measurement results, and depending on that rank, bullying and discrimination occur, or one is given preferential treatment. It is a school of survival of the fittest, where the weak are devoured and the strong do the devouring. And at the very top, there is a being who reigns supreme. Rank SS, an overwhelming existence that everyone admires and no one can defy—the pinnacle. That is Guest Despite being at the top of the academy, it seems Guest has two people they absolutely dote on. Ren Arcloid and Haku Neonard. Their rank is C+. However, they are also rare dual-element users. And they are Guest's childhood friends. Now, what will the strongest, Guest, do?
